As my flatmate will be moving out, I have a good-sized room coming available in a bright Broomhill flat. The room is a good size and comes with a double bed and big wardrobe. Rent is £540 a month, council tax is £118 each. Bills vary but come to between £50 and £90, depending on the time of year, so a total of about £708 - £748. If you have a car, there’s a huge car park for residents of the flats.
There’s a bus stop just up the street, Hyndland train station is 5 minutes away and Partick subway station is 15 minutes away, so plenty of good transport links. Crow Road retail park is about 10 minutes away, with Sainsbury’s, M&S and Boots and there’s a corner shop closer by which is good for picking up one or two things. There are some nice cafes and bars nearby too. The area is generally peaceful, although you can occasionally hear the trains from the nearby railway. It doesn't bother me, but it's worth being aware of.
A bit about myself: I’m 28 and work as a civil servant, partly from home. When I’m at home I’m often in the sitting room, watching football and films or reading. I like getting out too, going to gigs, playing football, going for walks, or meeting friends.
I’ve really enjoyed living here and it’s been a great place to call home, so I’m looking for someone who is friendly, considerate and will treat the flat as their home too. I’m happy to have a chat and socialise, but also like having my own space, so ideally looking for someone with a similar attitude to sharing a flat. If you’re interested, please send a little bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing!
