Professional House Share – Double Room Available from 31st July 2026

A spacious, fully furnished double room is available in a friendly, professional household. Ideally suited to a doctor, nurse, or medical student, although other full-time professionals will also be considered. Applicants should be in full-time employment.

I would ideally prefer a male professional aged 30+, and while I would prefer a long-term lodger, shorter lets may also be considered for the right person. Sorry, no couples.

The room is a comfortable double bedroom located upstairs, conveniently situated next to the bathroom and is fully furnished and ready to move into.

I have a friendly 4-year-old Labrador/Staffie cross who is very much part of the family, so any prospective lodger should genuinely love dogs. She occasionally needs letting out into the garden, so I'm looking for someone who won't mind opening the back door now and then and who understands that she comes with the house!

I work long hours and am home most evenings unless working away from town, so the house offers a peaceful and relaxed environment.

I'm looking for someone who is clean, tidy, considerate and respectful, with a good sense of humour and an appreciation that sharing a home means occasionally doing the little things that make life easier for everyone.

This is a relaxed, drama-free home, and I'm looking for someone who can help keep it that way. Mutual respect and common courtesy go a long way.

Smokers and vapers are welcome, but smoking and vaping are strictly outdoors in the garden only.
