Hi, I’m a university lecturer and I’m looking for a few lovely people to share my newly renovated Victorian home in LE2.

The house has recently been carefully renovated and decorated, and I would really like to create a comfortable, peaceful and genuinely homely environment, rather than the feeling of a typical shared house.

The location is very convenient for the city and universities. It is approximately 15–20 minutes' walk from Leicester Royal Infirmary, De Montfort University and the University of Leicester, with very easy access to the city centre. There is also a bus stop directly in front of the house, making commuting around Leicester particularly easy.

I’m mainly looking for working professionals and/or postgraduate students who are friendly, respectful, clean and considerate. Ideally, I would like to live with people who will treat the property as their own home, look after it and naturally help keep the shared spaces clean and comfortable for everyone.

I’m often out and have a busy work schedule, so although I will also be living in the property, everyone will have plenty of independence and their own space.

There are three furnished double bedrooms available, all for single occupancy only. The rooms are particularly spacious and include their own sofa/sitting area. The house offers:

The aim is very much to create a home for everyone living here, rather than simply renting out rooms.
I’m therefore not looking to create a party house or a busy student house. I would much rather find the right people who appreciate having somewhere peaceful, clean and welcoming to come home to.

It would be lovely to have a household where people are friendly and comfortable chatting or having a cup of tea together, while equally respecting one another’s privacy and independence.
