The Room: Large double bedroom furnished with a bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Gets the lovely morning sun as the photo shows.

The House: Shared bathroom and kitchen (equipped with oven & microwave) plus living area and garden

The Location: Situated in a quiet and safe area of central Loughborough, ideal for those using public transport as very close to SkyLink bus stops with easy access to East Midlands Airport and Leicester. Short walk to Loughborough Train Station with fast trains to London St Pancras. Easy access to Loughborough University by walk or bus.

5 mins: Tesco, M&S, TK Maxx

15 mins: Lidl and Aldi

On-street permit parking available with the council (£60 a year)

About me:

I am a working professional and the owner of the house. I work remotely Mon-Fri in a flexible manner, so often structure my day around gym or dance classes. I’ve lived and worked abroad a fair bit, so get on well with those who are interested in the world around them. I like hiking in the Peak District, reading and listening to a lot of Radio 4 (sorry if this isn’t your thing!). I did my PhD at Loughborough University so actively welcome applications from anyone connected there.

What I’m Looking For

Sociable yet respectful: Up for a chat or a shared meal, while respecting each other's space and need for downtime.

House-trained, and a non-smoker/non-vaper and a light/non drinker. Bonus if you like house plants!
