Room for rent in Loughborough

I have a furnished room in Loughborough, just off Belton Road and near the canal.
10 mins walk to the station
5 mins walk to an Aldi
10 mins walk down the canal to town centre
25 mins walk to Loughborough Uni campus

The house has a garden and parking available, as well as washing machine, dishwasher, well-functioning heating and hot water and a great drencher shower. I have recently renovated and redecorated, but the garden is next on the list so for the moment it is a little bit jungle-like.

All bills are included. However, with energy bills going up I would like to discuss things like heating preferences and working from home patterns before move-in to make sure that the price is fair for us both.

I would be keen to find a housemate who I enjoy spending time with, especially as it looks like we will all be spending more time at home than usual for some time yet. Ideal attributes include:
- Good sense of humour (sarcasm literate preferred)
- Tidy enough to be happy to help keep on top of mess before it gets out of control, but laid back enough to not mind the dishes being left til the morning every now and again.
- Up for sharing a walk/meal/glass of wine from time to time

The room has a small double bed, dresser and open wardrobe. There is also a hall cupboard and some space in the attic where you could store any suitcases or big items that don't fit under the bed.

I work in Coventry 2 days a week, and I am WFH the rest of the time. When I'm home I like to cook, read, play video games, and watch TV. I am also pretty crafty and into DIY, and you may often find me fixing, making, sewing or painting something.

You would also be sharing with my lovely spaniel Libby. She is a total delight, and also a minor nutcase.
