Double room in a 2-Bedroom House

The house:

The house includes a dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and a large garden. There is side access for the house and the garden. There is unrestricted on-street parking.

The house will be refurbished prior to move-in date.

The kitchen is equipped with standard white goods plus a dishwasher and washing machine.

The bedroom will be equipped with a double-bed and wardrobe. A table/ other furniture can be requested.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower / bath-tub.

The dining room will be equipped with a table and chairs. We can also have a sofa and TV in there.

The living room will be equipped with sofas, TV, coffee table.

We will share side-access and a path which crosses the garden with neighbours.

There will be sheltered space in the garden for bikes.

- 5-minute walk to the historic bail-gate and cathedral and castle.
- 2-minute walk to amenities such as co-op, pubs, restaurants, fast-food along Burton Road.
- 15-minute walk to the city-centre and high-street.
- 5-minute drive for large supermarkets Tesco/Aldi/Lidil.

Living arrangements:

I will be a live-in landlord sharing the kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room and garden.

Since there will just be two of us, there should be plenty of room for us within the house.

I work from home 4 days a week and would be fine for you to do the same. The living and dining rooms can be equipped with tables/chairs so that we each have our own space.

I will try my best to decorate the house/your room so that it is a homely and calm space.

We must both keep the house clean. Eg. hoovering and mopping shared floors, and other deeper cleans on a bi-weekly basis. In general though, we should have a "clean-as-you-go" mentality. Not everything has to be spotless and in place all the time, but we should try our best to respect the house and the space we live in.

Since there are two living areas (living room and dining room) we will be able to relax in our own space, though I hope that the shared space will feel comfortable for both of us.

I am fine with visitors, as long as everyone is respectful to the house at all times.

I am a 32-year old Male. I enjoy cooking, playing football, watching films and series, reading, art, science (I have a PhD in Physics), and socialising.

I work for Lincoln City FC as a Data Scientist.
