I’m ideally looking for someone Mon to Friday. for which rent would be reduced to £1000 pcm but will accept full time if right housemate.

The room is available from 9th Jun until 30 August 2024.

The room for rent is a double with your own bathroom. If you click on the floor plan photo, the room for rent is the top bedroom on the second floor at the front of the house. And your bathroom is at the rear on the same floor.

The house is 2500 square ft so there is loads of space.

Rent which includes everything (all bills) apart from the cleaner, who comes every 2 weeks, and insurance to cover your own possessions/contents. The rent for full time, mon - sun, is £1500 pcm..

Location:
- Acton mainline station which is on the Elizabeth line is 4 mins walk from house. Takes 7 mins into Paddington, 11 mins to Bond Street and 20 mins to Liverpool Street. In the other direction it’s 20 mins to Heathrow.
- Chiswick is 10 mins away by bus or taxi or a 25 min walk
- 15 min walk or bus to north acton which is on the central line
- 15 min walk to Acton central which is on the overground, then 15 mins on overground to Richmond.

Parking is available on my driveway.

In Acton itself Churchfield Road is 10 mins walk from the house and has independent coffee shops and cafes, 2 nice gastro pubs and a decent restaurant called Fed & Watered.

4 mins walk from the house is a row of shops for all the essentials such as food, post office, pharmacy, dry cleaners etc.

The area has a diverse spread of people which is great.

There is a David Lloyd sports club 10 mins walk away, tennis courts and two parks to run in.

The vibe of the house is very much that of a home. I am too old to live like a student; there is no house kitty, if the house needs something, someone buys it. It all works out in the greater scheme of things.

I work in asset management and to balance out the corporate BS I do photography and paint. Sometimes I work very long hours, the rest of the time I have a pretty good work life balance. I work from home 3 days a week.

Abigail, a tv director, rents another bedroom. We found each other on Spareroom and are now friends as well as housemates.

The front room, the one with the bright sofas, has a piano and a guitar, so if you play that is a bonus. Music wise I love everything apart from hard techno.

Love to travel. Went to Antarctica in Dec.
