Large double room in Acton available from December

We're a flat share of two professionals, 26 and 27 yrs old. Our current housemates, a couple, are moving out at the end of October, so we’re looking for new housemates to join us in our amazing flat!

The room is the biggest bedroom in the flat, has a massive amount of natural light; is already furnished, including a desk and has plenty of storage available.

The kitchen is a kitchen/ living room/ dinner and one of the couches is a pull out couch, so perfect for visiting friends and family.

The flat is incredibly situated, right between Acton Town tube station (Picadilly and District lines); South Acton overground station and has amazing bus links. We're also not far from the Elizabeth Line - Acton Main Line Station.

We have private bike stands at the front of the house if you own or want to get a bike.

Its a great area to live, with loads of cafes and pubs nearby. Close to both Acton and Chiswick High Streets and around 40 mins from Central.

We have an amazing direct relationship with our landlord, so there is no bs with agencies. If anything needs fixing we speak directly with him and he's incredibly fast at getting everything we need sorted. Aside from that, we obvs take care of the flat and all chip in to keep it clean.

Couples or singles are welcome, the deposit is only £1000 and the price of the room is currently £1300pcm.

For a couple, there'd be an increase of £150 in March, but rent would then stay the same for 2 years. Our landlord agreed to postpone increasing rent to help us out with bills over winter.

If a single person were to take the room, the rent will stay the same for a year minimum. This is to help us as we adjust from sharing bills between 4 housemates as we do now, down to just 3 people. (This would be a 3rd yr in a row of rent not going up).

Unfortunately bills are not included. We pay energy and gas, council tax and WiFi monthly but pay water annually. We do however have one of the fastest internet deals in the country ✌🏼 which perfectly allows for flexible and hybrid working.

The flat mates are Iona, who works as civil servant and Coco who works in film and TV. We love to organise stuff as a flat (hikes, days out, game nights, drinks, movie night etc), when work schedules allow this and we are always open to having friends and visitors pop round too. We moved in together as friends and really want to keep that same friendly chill vibe going with whoever comes to join us.
