Double room in Aldgate East warehouse flat

I’m subletting my double room in our warehouse conversion flat just off Whitechapel High Street, free from the 25th of September until the 16th of October. It’s £220 a week with all bills included.

The room

It comes fully furnished and ready to move into: a proper double bed, a tall double wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a full length mirror, a desk lamp and lovely original floorboards.

Please note that it’s an internal room, so the light comes through a set of full height glazed double doors with frosted panes rather than an external window. There’s a blind and sheer curtains on them, and during the day they let a decent amount of daylight in.

The flat
The flat has a lovely open plan living, kitchen and dining, with exposed brick walls, big factory style windows and a view over the rooftops to the Shard. There are three sofas and a telly, a dining table that seats six, a breakfast bar with stools, and a proper kitchen with a gas range cooker.

Getting about
Aldgate East is about a 5 minute walk, and Tower Hill and Aldgate are about a 10 minute walk. Brick Lane, Spitalfields and the City are all walkable.

Who lives here

I have three lovely flatmates, all male working professionals. We’re out at work in the week and we’re a friendly bunch, though it’s a fairly chilled house rather than a party one. Someone’s usually about in the evening if you fancy a chat or a film, and it’s equally fine if you’d rather have your own space.

Who I’m after

Another working professional who’s clean, considerate and easy to get on with. It’d suit someone over for a short contract, in between places, or in London for a few weeks of work.
