Beautiful big bedroom to rent in Angel, available mid-June (flexible on exact start date). The house is on a lovely tree-lined and very quiet street, but only a few minutes’ walk to Upper Street and all the restaurants, bars, parks and shops Angel has to offer. It is 10 minutes’ walk to Angel station (Northern line) and 15 minutes’ walk to Highbury & Islington station (Victoria line and Overground) with lots of bus routes running through. Angel is a great neighbourhood, very green, residential and safe with lots to do.

The bedroom has a double bed, lots of storage (two white shelving units, a big cupboard and chest of drawers) with lots of light from the window. The window looks out to the back of the street which has lots of gardens and the nearest buildings are quite far away, so the bedroom gets a lot of light and is very quiet. The flat also has a private garden accessed through stairs from a back door.

There is a big living room which looks out onto the street and gets lots of light in the afternoon, with a smart TV (with TV licence), two sofas, a fireplace and lots of storage space (which are currently being used as bookcases). The kitchen is also really nice with lots of storage space again, a dining table and chairs and a large fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a grill, oven, slow-cooker as well as a hob with chimney.

There are two bathrooms – one near the entrance and one near the bedrooms which are all on a separate floor. The one near the entrance is really big and has several windows, with a big bathtub and integrated shower (with great water pressure) and shelves and a cupboard for storage as well as heated towel rails. The one near the bedrooms has a big Velux window in the ceiling (as it is on the top floor) so is a great spot for a bath.

There are two female flatmates, both in their mid-20s and lawyers in the City. They are both really friendly, sociable but also respectful of personal space. Ideally we are looking for another female professional to rent the room. The landlord is great, very responsive and helpful, and the neighbours are a family who are also very nice. The rent per month is 1,050 plus bills but I’m open to close offers depending on the preferred start date. The current tenancy runs until March 2021.

Given current circumstances, I’m happy to do viewings by video and answer any questions/send any more photos if needed. My flatmates would also like to meet any interested people over videocall as they are both currently in their family homes outside of London. I would ideally like to leave a few days’ buffer between moving out and the new tenant moving in during which the flat can be deep cleaned.
