I have to move out of my room in Archway, and am looking for someone to take it over!
The room is a very good size - about 4.5 x 3 metres, you can see from the photos that it’s quite spacious. It has a large window, which is north-facing so you get a lot of light without so much heat. The bed, chest of drawers, closet, and the desk by the bed come with the room (the other desk and the chair are mine, but it shows how much space there is). The rest of the flat has two bathrooms, a large kitchen/seating area (with high ceilings), and a terrace with a table, which you can also use to keep a bike.
The other flatmates are lovely, a mixture of professionals and hospitality workers. They are all very friendly, and always up for a chat in the kitchen, but also have their own schedules and lives so the flat doesn’t feel crowded.
We are very well-connected – only a couple of minutes from Archway station, on the Northern Line. There’s an ALDI a few doors up, and lots of other supermarkets a short walk away. Junction Road and Holloway Road have loads of cafes, takeaways, shops, pretty much anything you’d want, accessible by a short walk!
