🏠 Looking for a new flatmate in Archway / Holloway

I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in my flat in Archway, £950 rent per month (£1,111.50 bills inc. approx), though I can bring this down to £900 a month (£1061.50 bills inc. approx) as this is the smaller of the two bedrooms.

📍 Location
The flat is in Archway, less than a mile from both Archway Station and Upper Holloway Station, so there are really easy transport links into Central London via the Northern and Suffragette lines. Being on Holloway Road also means you have pretty much everything you need right on the doorstep, including Aldi, Tesco, Co-op and loads of other shops, cafés and places to eat.

The flat is currently just me, as my previous flatmate has moved out to pursue another living arrangement, so I’m looking for one person rather than a couple.

🛏️ The room
The room is partially furnished and comes with a bed frame, wooden wardrobe/cupboard storage and a lamp. There’s obviously plenty of room to make it your own and bring whatever else you need.

I’d ideally like someone who earns around £28k+, mainly so that the rent is comfortably affordable and to meet the annual income requirements for the tenancy.

👀 Who I’m looking for
I’m ideally looking for someone around 22–30 who is clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces, but also friendly and sociable. I’d love to live with someone who is up for going out, grabbing a drink, watching films or doing things together sometimes, but who also understands that everyone needs their own space and quiet time.

Being queer would definitely be a plus, as I’m gay and would love the flat to feel like a comfortable and relaxed space to live in, but it’s absolutely not a requirement.

👋 A bit about me
I’m a 23-year-old guy working in digital marketing at an agency in nearby Kentish Town. Outside of work I’m really into films, music, digital design and walking around London, and generally like finding new places to go and things to do.

I’m pretty social and would be very happy to have a flatmate who wants to occasionally go for drinks, explore London or have a film night, but I’m also quite happy doing my own thing and having a quiet evening at home.

I’d ideally like someone to move in ASAP, but I’d definitely like to meet beforehand and grab a drink or coffee so we can get to know each other and make sure we’d get along before committing to anything.
