Park view maisonette near to Balham station

The room is a double bedroom in a three-bed house share. There’s plenty of space to work in both the communal kitchen or living room areas of the house if you work from home. The other housemates, George and Max, are hybrid or in the office every day.

The house has a beautiful view overlooking the peaceful Tooting common: perfect for walks, workouts, and picnics in summer. Balham station is just a 12-minute walk away, offering excellent rail links to Victoria, Waterloo, Clapham Junction, and the Northern line.

The first floor accommodates the kitchen, living room, a shared bathroom, two bedrooms - one of which is this one. The previous housemates had plenty of their own things around the communal areas too to add some personal touches and make the place truly feel like home.

The bed has ottoman storage and it is possible to store belongings in the eave of the house, also.

We’re really lucky to have a private garden directly accessible from the kitchen. In summer months it’s great for barbecues or a morning coffee - although probably more just to see out the windows in winter! There's also access along a back alleyway so you can store bikes and other outdoor gear.

Max works in telecoms, is a passionate kayaker, and sings in a choir. George works as a teacher and loves cricket, music and golf. We’re a friendly house who enjoy cooking together, chatting about their day, and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere. We’re often out exploring or socialising during weekends and evenings, but always up for sharing dinners and hosting get-togethers with friends if we're all in the mood.

Bills aren't included, but currently come to £181.07 per month per person, which includes a cleaner every 2 weeks.
