About the room:

This is a furnished double bedroom, lovely and private due to bedroom having a seperate private entrance via the balcony. It has full easy access to the main shared flat but acts more as a secluded personal sanctuary. The door opens fully and wide onto the balcony and the room has its own radiator. It is large enough to fit in a desk.

About the flat:

This is a 3 bed girls flat, with a shared studio style space, which includes a full kitchen and living area, with a giant, comfy sofa. The bathroom will be shared between only yourself and Bianca as Ella has an ensuite room. There is a washing machine for all in the bathroom. The shower is in rain style. Bills are cheap at £80-£90 a month.

About the location:

The flat is about a minute's walk from Balham High Road, with particular easy access to the Co-op and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to Aldi, Sainsbury's and the rail and tube station. It also has very easy access to multiple gyms, including the leisure centre (which I use!), on the same street as the flat. I have always felt very safe in Balham.

About the flatmates:

2 super chill aussies girls; Ella, 30 and Bianca, 28. Ella has been living here for nearly 2 years, whilst Bianca has been in the flat since March (the previous flatmate had lived here 3 years but was a kiwi and her visa ran out). Ella works 4 days a week in her office in central London, in fashion logistics; she is lucky enough to have a 3 day weekend! When out and about, she loves a museum, fashion exhibition or vintage fair, as well as UK/european day trips. Bianca also spends most of her working days in her office in her IT/data role. She is super sporty, being a part of Netball and basketball teams, but also has a packed social life. A lot of her time is also spent with her lovely girlfriend Millie, who occasionally will come around for dinner.

About me:

I have lived in this room for 4 years now and I am only moving out as I am moving back up north to Sheffield. I am english, it has been a pure coincidence, the amount of kiwis/aussies we have had, but can't lie, they are good to live with! In my previous role, I did WFH at least 2 times a week, so the flat is definitely suitable.

About you:

We are looking for a professional female, who will be clean, reliable and organised. We are down for chill tv evenings but also respect and understand each other's space. Ella loves a relaxed birthday celebration and is likely the first thing she will find out about you.
