Hellooo! I live in a 3 bed flat in Balham and am looking for a new friend to come and join us! We are both super socialable and friendly although very busy. Our interests include panel shows, nerdy films, scrapbooking, dancing, video games, reading, pilates, cooking and eating food, board games, hiking, etc. We are looking for someone who is equally socialable and is keen to make friends, bonus points if you share any of our interests 😊

Our friend is moving out on August 29th so we are looking for someone to rapidly take her place! The rent is 1000 pcm not including bills (currently ~118 pcm including v fast wi-fi, gas, electric, water, council tax, home insurance).

About the house:

The room is a cosy double room with a bedside table and wardrobe in the room with space under the bed for storage. There is also a chest of drawers in the hallway as additional storage. The communal spaces are gorgeous - huge lounge with bay windows that gets the sun in the day so ideal for coffee and reading, a big kitchen with a full size kitchen table, stacks of storage, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. We have a fire-escape balcony behind the kitchen which is nice in the summer and a communal garden. There's one bathroom and a separate toilet that are shared between the 3 rooms. Please note our landlord does not allow pets (so sad).

About the area:

- 10 min walk from Balham underground, overground, and all the shops on the high street.

- There's multiple parks walking distance from the flat (wandsworth, tooting and clapham common) which are great for chilling with a picnic and books in summer and lots of cute bars and brunch cafes nearby too!

About us:

We are both 26, one brit one aussie, both working professionals who work mostly in the office but sometimes from home. We note that the room doesnt have space for a desk in it so may be suited to those who work more in office, however if you need to work from home there is potentially room in the lounge to add a desk in!
