Balham Double Room in Homely Flatshare

Hi I am leaving my lovely room in Balham with a flexible leaving date between the 31st October and the 30th November.

The flat is a 3-bed 1st floor (unfortunately not wheelchair accessible), situated just around down the road from Tooting Common in a quiet residential street.

It has a large living room at the front of the house, with a TV and space for drying clothes and at the rear of the house there is a shared garden, and a large kitchen/dining area. The oven, hobs and fridge are all in excellent working condition.

The bathroom is lovely and newly fitted with a large bath and separate shower, which has good pressure. This is shared between all three housemates.

The bedroom itself fits a small double bed, a chest of drawers and a clothing rail and is furnished. You may replace the furniture with anything that you like. It has carpet and a small window that faces the house next door and a old fireplace. It’s cosy and comfortable.

The other housemates are an voice coach/actor and a personal trainer, two very lovely friendly women!
This is a LGBTQ+ friendly home who is seeking a third woman or non-binary person aged late 20s to 30s. No couples, sorry.

The house is social but not a party flat — we stay in and watch movies, have dinner, go out for coffee and swim at the lido. Occasionally we go to the pub!

The rent is £690 for the room and the bills come to just shy of £130 per month. You would be taking over the responsibility of paying rent to the landlord, but no other bills through your account. It is in Council Tax Band D.

This house has a shared rental responsibility; your name goes on the tenancy agreement.
