Gorgeous Balham flat looking for a new housemate

Lovely double room available in a gorgeous, spacious ground-floor flat in Balham from 30th November!

Our lovely housemate is moving in with her boyfriend, so we’re looking for someone new to join our little household.

The room itself is a well-sized double, with plenty of built-in storage to keep everything tidy, including handy drawers under the bed.

The flat is genuinely gorgeous — beautifully furnished, really spacious and, in our completely unbiased opinion, the nicest rental property we’ve come across! 😂

The shared living space is a particular highlight, with an enormous L-shaped sofa, 52-inch TV and a very snazzy coffee table that transforms into a dining table seating 6–8 people. Perfect for dinner parties, games nights or a cosy evening in front of Netflix.

The bathroom has a large shower, plenty of mirrors and a gorgeous roll-top, claw-foot bath. The fully equipped kitchen comes with everything you need, including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and an extendable dining table.

A bit about Balham 📍

Balham is a brilliant place to live, with loads of lovely pubs, restaurants, cafés and bars, plus great transport links into central London. We’re also just a short walk from both Wandsworth and Tooting Commons — perfect for a weekend stroll, a run or a bit of fresh air!

A bit about your future housemates 👋

We’re Charlie and Fran, both professionals in our early 30s — one working in PR and the other at Disney! We’ve lived together for the past four years and have built a really lovely, sociable home together.

We’re both tidy, house-proud non-smokers who love keeping the flat looking its best. Outside of work, we enjoy a good mix of cosy evenings in with Netflix and wine, weekend pub trips, gym classes and hosting dinner parties with friends and family.

We’re sociable and love spending time together, so we see our house as a home shared with friends rather than somewhere everyone disappears into their own rooms! We’d love to find someone friendly, considerate and on a similar wavelength, who fancies the occasional pub trip, dinner party or sofa night, while equally having their own life and space.
