Double Room In Balham

Hey! I’m Laura, 31, and work in media. I’m on the hunt for a new housemate as my current housemate has just bought her own place down the road (she clearly loves Balham as much as I do!).

The room is available from 19th December onwards, with rent at £975 per month and bills an additional £168 per month. This includes gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, council tax and water.

The room will be unfurnished, but my current housemate is happy to leave her wardrobe if you need one, as well as the desk. She currently works from the living room, so don’t worry – the desk will be all yours, and the living room will be your office during working hours! 🖥️

A little about the location:

*Balham Tube/Station – around a 15-minute walk
* Tooting Bec Station – around a 15-minute walk
* Tooting Common – just a 7-minute walk away, perfect for a weekend wander or getting some fresh air!

A little about me: I work in media and outside of work you’ll usually find me doing CrossFit, playing hockey, enjoying a good pub or restaurant trip, or settling down for a natter and a glass of wine on the sofa. I’m also partial to an episode of EastEnders!

I’m really keen to find someone who’s looking for more than just a room to rent – someone who I’d also get on with as a friend. It would be lovely to have a housemate who’s up for the occasional pub trip, a catch-up after work or a cosy evening in, while also being respectful of each other’s own space.
