Fantastic Flat in Balham

The bedroom!

The flat is spacious, bright and airy, cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Although it is a three bedroom flat, I only rent out one of the rooms, allowing a bit more space for both of us and a spare room with bed for when guests (yours or mine) need to stay a night or two. The room itself is large with a built in wardrobe, 2 chest of drawers and shelves as well as the necessary double bed and bedside table.

The rest of the flat has a separate loo and bathroom, large kitchen with washing machine and drier and a cupboard for coats. It also has a large sitting room with dining table leading on to a balcony which is a sun trap in the morning and also home for my tomato plants. It's a good place for breakfast. Of course free wi-fi broadband is all part of the package. A cleaner visits every fortnight too.

The flat is on the Sinclair Estate, small, safe and quiet enough to provide happy living. At the centre of a transport triangle, Streatham Hill is less than 10 minutes walk while both Balham rail and tube and Clapham South tube are both a little over 10 minutes walk. Buses going in to town leave from outside the front door. Balham also boasts numerous bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants. More importantly we have a Sainsburys and a Waitrose.

As far as flatmates are concerned, I am looking for someone who cleans up after themselves and is fun and relaxed. I'm a great believer in getting on with whoever you share your home with as the last thing either of you need after a tough day is a load of stress. Obviously the odd drink together goes a long way to cementing roomie relationships too.
