We’ve already hosted a couple of BBQs/gatherings and it works perfectly as a social space.
The room is on the 2nd floor. It’s currently furnished by the current tenant — the bed will be taken, but some other furniture (e. g. wardrobe) may be available to purchase if needed.
👯♀️ About Us
There are currently three of us:
Maria (31) – Tech sales. Spare time DJ, tennis, gigs, and by nature of the age… lots of weddings and hen dos.
Alex (25) – Also tech sales (yes, we work together). Recently into baking and similar interests.
Iain (32) – Similar vibe — social, laid-back and easy to live with.
We moved in as four friends and genuinely love living together. We’re not just people who share a house — we’re actually friends. We hang out, host BBQs, merge friendship groups, occasionally head to gigs together, and sometimes just end up chatting in the kitchen for way longer than planned.
That said, we also really respect personal space. Some evenings it’s non-verbal mode: someone cooking, someone watching TV, someone pottering about. Other times it’s a glass of wine and a catch-up.
We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a friendly, social house — not just rent a room. Ideally someone who’s up for the occasional drink, dinner, park walk or night out, and who values living with people they actually get on with.

Cleaner twice a month
3-year contract with 18-month break clause (started September)
Your name will be on the lease (reference checks required)
Agency handles admin, but we deal directly with the landlords day-to-day — they’re amazing and super responsive (we even have a WhatsApp group with them).
Neighbours are similar age, super friendly, and we all take parcels in for each other.
