Private double room in clean, well presented three bedroom flat overlooking the Thames in the pretty part of Battersea.

Close to the cafés, bars & restaurants of Battersea Square and opposite a small local park, our gated community is set in six acres of gardens & grounds - so there are plenty of quieter places to sit & eat on warmer days.

A pleasant walk or cycle along the towpath outside leads you to leafy Battersea Park, King's Road Chelsea or the iconic Battersea Power Station - & the Northern Line tube.

Transport wise, there's also a regular bus service (170) which takes you to Clapham (8 minutes) Junction or Victoria stations (25 minutes) - both offer direct & speedy connections to Gatwick Airport. For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from just outside too.

We are looking for a clean, tidy, quiet & friendly lodger who also enjoys privacy - perhaps someone who is visiting or working temporarily in London & is looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay while enjoying the best city has to offer.

Aside from your bedroom, the kitchen, bathroom and dining area are shared with my daughter (mid 30s, creative professional, who uses the living-room as her work space) - and occasionally by me when I'm not travelling.
