Hi there! My current flatmate is moving out after 3 years here, so I’m looking for someone to take over her room.

Rent & Eligibility
This flat is part of a Discount Market Rent (DMR) scheme, which keeps the property highly affordable. Due to the scheme's rules, the following financial criteria apply:

The Rent: I cover the larger share of the rent (£1,924+), meaning your monthly rent is fixed at £1,300. Open to negotiations on this.

Income Cap: The landlord requires the incoming tenant to have an individual gross annual income between £37,000-£59,000 to qualify for referencing.

The Flat & Room
It’s a modern, bright 2-bedroom flat in the Bloom development in Battersea.

The available room is a double with its own private en-suite bathroom. The room includes a double-door wardrobe and a second triple-door wardrobe. The apartment is unfurnished, but I am willing to purchase a bed for the room if that is required.

The flat has air conditioning and a separate utility cupboard with a stacked washer and dryer.

As a resident of the Bloom complex, you will have access to two outdoor shared pools, two gyms (one in East, one in West), co-working spaces, and a communal rooftop.

Location
The flat is a 5-minute walk to the Battersea Power Station tube station (Northern Line) and less than 15 minutes to Battersea Park.

I’m a 29-year-old guy working in fintech. Originally from the UK, I grew up in the US and have lived in London for 10 years, including the last 3 years in this flat.

I work from home most days. I keep the flat clean, peaceful, and calm. I am happy to chat, cook, or relax, and I respect personal space. Outside of work, I spend my time cycling, traveling, and hanging out with friends.

I am looking for a flatmate who is clean, easy-going, and values a quiet, comfortable home.

We have a two-month notice period on the current lease, and we will swap your name onto the tenancy. The earliest move-in date is the 17/18th of September.
