Bright & Sunny Double Room in Friendly 3 Bed Flat

I’m moving overseas, which means my lovely room is up for grabs! Sad for me, potentially excellent news for you.

Available from mid-October 2026 (date slightly flexible).

The room is very bright and sunny and comfortably fits a double bed. You’ll also have access to two wardrobes in the communal hallway, plus a garden shed for additional storage, because apparently we all own more stuff than we think we do!

The flat is a bright, double-storey, three-bedroom apartment with a great garden (complete with a dart board 🎯). The rest of the flat is fully furnished, while this room is unfurnished. I’m happy to sell everything currently in the room to the new tenant for a cheap and fair price, if you’d rather avoid the joys of furniture shopping.

Bills are £100 per month.

🏡 About the house

The house is home to three people total, and the current household is made up of three working professionals who have been friends for over 10 years. Both myself and one of the other housemates are moving overseas, so we’re looking for two new people to join the house.

We’re looking for people who want to be part of the household and hopefully make some genuine friendships (not someone we never see and who has no interest in getting to know their housemates!). We like cooking together, going out for drinks, hosting BBQs, relaxing on the sofa and generally spending time together, while also being respectful of everyone’s need for downtime and privacy.

The other housemate who is moving overseas has the largest bedroom in the house, which is also available separately for £1,185/month (plus bills).

So there are currently two rooms becoming available, although they’re being advertised separately. If you and a friend are looking to move together, this could be a particularly good opportunity!

Basically, we’re looking for friendly humans who enjoy a drink, a BBQ, a good chat and actually want to know the people they live with, while still understanding that everyone needs their own space sometimes.
