We’re a couple working in healthcare in London . We have put a lot of effort into our 2bed2bath home, making it warm, calm, comfortable and genuinely somewhere you can enjoy living rather than simply renting a room.

Your room

A spacious master bedroom and ensuite that is fully furnished with a king-sized bed, plenty of storage, a professional workspace and stylish decor. It includes:

* Large king-size bed with ottoman storage
* Private full ensuite bathroom with a large shower and built in mirrored cabinetry
* Large built-in mirrored wardrobe with drawers, shelving and hanging space
* Dedicated desk and chair
* Bedside tables and additional storage
* Hardwood flooring throughout – no carpets
* Large window providing plenty of natural light
* Quiet position away from the main road

In addition to the desk in the bedroom, the flat has a separate office/workspace, which can be particularly useful for working from home.

The flat

This is a modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a south-west-facing aspect and lovely afternoon sunshine. It is well insulated, quiet and set back from the main road.

The communal space is generous, with a large living/dining room, 65-inch TV, Apple TV and access to Prime Video, Disney+ and YouTube Premium. There is also a large comfortable sofa bed, so there is space for an occasional guest.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher and other kitchen appliances (including a popcorn machine 🍿). We’re also quite serious about coffee: there is a dedicated coffee station with a high-quality coffee machine and regular coffee subscription.

There is a private balcony/outdoor seating area and a small garden/outdoor area, as well as dedicated secure bike storage.

The building has a reception/communal entrance area with CCTV. Secure gated underground parking may also be available by separate negotiation. The space is currently rented separately, but we may be able to make it available to you if required.

All bills are included, as is a dedicated weekly cleaner, so we’d like to keep the home clean and pleasant without anyone having to spend their weekends doing a full-flat clean.

Location – Battersea

The location is one of our favourite things about living here. Battersea Park is around a two-minute walk away, so it’s very easy to go for a run, walk, cycle or simply get outside after work.

Battersea Power Station and the riverside are nearby, while Clapham Junction is within walking distance, giving excellent rail and Overground connections. Battersea Power Station Underground station provides access to the Northern line.

The surrounding area has plenty of independent cafés, restaurants, pubs, gyms and everyday amenities and is particularly popular with young working professionals.

You can walk along the river towards Chelsea and Kensington, while Clapham and Wandsworth are also close by. For cyclists, it’s a great base for exploring London and getting out towards places such as Richmond Park.

A little about us

We’re an easy-going couple, both doctors working full-time. Outside work we enjoy travelling, hiking, cycling, going to the gym and sauna, exploring London and generally keeping active.

We enjoy having a sociable home and occasionally have friends over for dinner, movie nights or card nights. We like the balance of cooking or sharing a meal together while also completely respecting each other’s privacy and downtime.

This is an LGBT household, and creating a relaxed, respectful and inclusive home is important to us.

We’d particularly suit someone who is independent and has their own life in London but would still like to live with people they can have a chat, coffee or dinner.

We’re looking for someone clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces, ideally another full-time working professional. More than anything, we’d like someone who will treat the flat as their home too.
