Bayswater weekday double - own bathroom & balcony

I am looking to rent the spare room in my flat in Bayswater Monday to Thursday/Friday.

The room has a double bed, a small balcony, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers. Sheets and towels will be provided and cleaned.

The flat is 1000sqft and has two floors with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. It has a good sized kitchen, large sitting room, utility room and toilet on the lower floor. The kitchen doesn’t have a dishwasher (it’s a long story!) so I’d prefer the lodger kept cooking to simple things. The flat is third floor with no lift.

Street parking may be available to the right person but this would require an application to the council, and I’d want us to establish that things were working well before making this step.

One month’s rent and one month’s deposit required in advance. Full receipts will be given if required.

Price is negotiable depending on how many nights in the week you’d want the room.

The neighbourhood, Bayswater, is popular as one of London’s most cosmopolitan area, it’s full of lovely restaurants, cafes, shops, entertaining joints. There is a very vibrant night life which helps gives a safe feel even late at night. There is a small garden square beneath the flat that is open to the public.

Access to public transport is really good-
Royal Oak Tube Station is 4 min walk
Paddington Station is 10 min walk
Hyde Park is 12 min walk
Queensway Tube Station is 12 min walk
Bayswater Tube Station is 10 min walk
There are quite a few bus routes too.
Waitrose is 4 min walk. Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Planet Organic and lots of independent are also just a few minutes walk away

I’m in my late 30s, live by myself and I am looking to rent the room to one person only. I work in the oil industry. Through the week I play a few sports and see friends but am an early bird, so normally in bed by 10.30 and up a little after 6. I’d prefer the person lodging to be quiet and / or early to bed. I would consider a couple taking the room but preference is for a single person.
