After 5 years of living together, my flatmate is moving out as he’s bought his own place.
I am looking for a new flatmate to join me in our spacious 2 bed 2 bath in Bayswater.
🛏️ The room is a spacious double bedroom, with a relaxing view of a garden.
Comes equipped with a double bed and has its own separate bathroom with a bathtub.
🛋️ The flat has 2 bedrooms with hardwood floor throughout.
Bright, spacious kitchen with plenty of counter and pantry space, washing machine, washer and heat pump dryer, looking out to leafy trees.
The living room is a proper living space with a dining table, couch and armchairs, TV and a balcony.
We keep the place clean and tidy, and take turns with shared chores, as well as having a cleaner come by on a monthly basis.
🏠 The building is purpose built, with a concierge and a garage (with a parking spot included).
📍 The location is phenomenal, right next door to the large Waitrose in Bayswater:
* If you head east, you’ll be in Paddington in 10 min walk (or even less via the bus stop in front of the property)
* If you head south, you’ll be in Hyde Park in 10 min walk
* If you head north, you’ll be along the canals of Little Venice in 10 min walk.
* If you head west, you’ll find the lively Westbourne Grove which has lots of restaurants and new openings, and Notting Hill a bit further out.
🚇 Transport Links are exceptional:
* Paddington (10 min) Elizabeth, Bakerloo, Circle & Hammersmith, District lines, direct trains to London Heathrow (<30m)
* Queensway (10 min) Central Line
* Royal Oak (5 min) Circle, Hammersmith
* Bayswater (5 min) Circle, District
💷 Costs
* Rent for this room is £1650 pcm (locked in for 2 years, water included)
* Bills approximately £160 per person per month, covering council tax (Band G), gas & electricity, and 1Gb fibre broadband.
* Deposit is £1701.92
🧔🏻♂️ About me I’m a 32 y. o. professional working in tech, currently 3 days in office and 2 wfh.
I’m from Italy but have called London my home for the last 8 years.
I am quite sociable and I like long walks, cooking, listening to live music, going to the cinema, reading, eating out, fitness and spending quality time with friends and family.
I’m usually away about 1/2 weekends a month to visit family and/or travel. Occasionally have friends/my girlfriend over.
🔍 Who I’m looking for A working professional who’s clean, considerate, and easy to live with.
I have treated this place like a home, keeping it clean, decorating it and sharing it with a good friend.
I want somebody who will treat this place with the same attention.
Somebody who has interests and can enjoy going out and occasionally having friends over for dinner as much as quiet nights in and a regular schedule during the week. The ideal flatmate strikes the right balance of enjoying sharing space and enjoying their own downtime.
No smokers. Prefer no shift or night workers.
📄 The term The tenancy is rolling, and we’ve recently locked in the rent for two years. I’m looking for a long term co-tenant.
Move-in Date: I’m looking for someone to move in around mid June, but we have some flexibility and could accommodate.
Please send me a message about yourself, I’d love to hear from you and see if you could be a good fit.
