Stunning double ensuite room in Belsize Park

Our lovely housemate is moving out to get a place of her own, so we’re looking for someone new to join our home in Belsize Park.

The room:

It’s a bright, furnished double bedroom with loads of storage and its own recently renovated ensuite bathroom. It will feel very much like your own space within the flat.

The rest of the flat is spacious and homely, with a balcony, a proper living room/TV lounge, dining table and kitchen. We’re on one of the prettiest, leafiest streets in Belsize Park.

**There is the option for one of us to move into this room, and a smaller, cheaper room then becomes available. We could chat about this separately if of interest to anyone.

The location:

We absolutely love this part of London and make the most of having everything on our doorstep. We’re at the Heath and ponds almost daily, regulars at Village Panda in Belsize Village, partial to a Primrose Hill sunset, and very committed to the pastries from the little Bread Pedlar café in Primrose. The Washington is our local for a pint.

Belsize Park station is a 5-minute walk away and Swiss Cottage is about 10 minutes, so getting into central London is very easy. Hampstead, Primrose Hill and the Heath are all within easy walking distance too.

Us / the vibe

You’d be living with the two of us, both early-to-mid 30s. I work in finance and Rory is a doctor. We’re active, fun, sane and sorted, and hoping to find someone in a similar stage of life.

We both have busy jobs, friends and independent lives, so there’s absolutely no expectation that we live in each other’s pockets. But equally, this isn't an anonymous London flatshare where everyone disappears into their bedrooms. We genuinely enjoy hanging out together - dinners and chats at home, the occasional drink or night out, trips to the Heath, etc.

It’s a very happy, respectful house with excellent vibes. We’re considerate of each other, everyone pulls their weight, and we like keeping the flat clean and tidy without being obsessive about it. Basically, we want home to feel like somewhere you’re genuinely happy to come back to.

We’d love to find someone friendly, warm, considerate and sociable, with their own life going on but who also wants to be part of the household rather than simply renting a room.
