We have a huge luxury ensuite double bedroom (more like a studio with a shared living room, two kitchens and garden) occupying an entire floor in a newly refurbished modern red brick terraced house in SE16 (c 30 sqm).

Lovely balance of near-complete privacy if you prefer, or the option to socialise with other housemates if you wish to.

The house has five bedrooms (total of 6 housemates if fully occupied), a large open plan living room/kitchen, and a second separate kitchen (please see floorplan). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom or is an ensuite. There is a sizeable garden for BBQs, and a shared motorcycle garage for general storage.

The house is very close to the Thames with views of Tower Bridge less than 50 metres from the house (the Shard is on the skyline viewed from the room). Bermondsey tube station is around a five minute walk from the house. The area also has a Sainsbury's Local within a couple of minutes walk, Tesco Extra (near Canada Water), and is rich in culture and history (the Mayflower pub is close by, which was the original mooring point of the Pilgrim Fathers' Mayflower ship back in the 16th century).

The other housemates are young professionals in their mid-20s and 30s, and work in finance, consulting.

The two kitchens are fully equipped with a gas hob, double oven, and several large fridges and freezers. The living room area has a 58 inch Samsung Smart HDTV, coffee table and two large Chesterfield sofas, along with a separate dining table and benches.

The bedroom has a king bed, two bedside tables, large desk, chair and a large wardrobe. The bathroom has a towel radiator, shelves, and brand new mirror cabinets.

All bills are included in the rent. Superfast Virgin Media fibre-optic broadband (350 Mbps) is also included.
