We’ve got two bedrooms in a 3-bed flat just off Tower Bridge Road in Bermondsey, though this ad is just for mine (other can be found by searching this reference #: 16591089). One of my roommates and I are needing to move out (him for new job, me to move in with friends of mine). Our third roommate (late 20s Frenchman) is staying on.

We’re looking for a respectful, tidy professional to take my place. I’ve lived here the past year and it’s been a great first flat in London. The location is awesome (in my opinion), the vibe at the flat is a good mix of spending time together and people doing their own thing, and the value (especially in this market) is solid for a room with an ensuite in this area.

I’ve laid out the basic details below. Looking for 15 April start at the earliest, can be flexible beyond that date.

FLAT / BUILDING
- 3 bed, 3 bath on 3rd floor of apartment building (elevator in building)
- Partially furnished (big items stay)
- Private balcony
- Kitchen has fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, electric hob, and laundry (washer/dryer combo)

ROOM
- Double room with ensuite bathroom
- Bed and dresser to stay
- Large windows that open partially - great natural light
- Ample room for a desk (I did not have one myself)

FLATMATES
- Existing roommate is Frenchmen in late 20s
- We have a shortlist for the 2nd - will most likely be professional female in 20s or early 30s

BUILDING
- 3 story apartment building with 9 total units
- Elevator in building
- Indoor bike racks for building use
- Communal roof terrace (entrance just outside our door)
- Trash taken to a trash room just adjacent to the front door of the building
- Package delivery can be a challenge if no one is home. I typically pick my things up from a collection point that’s <5 min walk from the flat.

LOCATION
- Side street off Tower Bridge Road with plenty of shops in the immediate area
- Charming Bermondsey St. just down the road
- 15 minutes walk to Borough Market, 10 min to Maltby St. Market / Bermondsey Beer Mile
- Tesco right outside our door, Sainsbury c. 5 min down the road
- Closest tube is London Bridge / Borough (both 15 min walk or 5 min Boris bike)
- Multiple bus stops are steps away

MONTHLY COSTS
- Base Rent of 1,125
- Bills come out to 150-200 depending on the month (includes utilities, internet, council tax, fortnightly cleaner)
- Total cost: 1,275-1,325

LEASE / TENENACY INFO
- Current lease runs to Feb 2024 (assume it will be possible to extend, though price will likely go up)
- Break possible at August 2023 (must give 2 months notice, or June 2023)
- Deposit was 4,038.46, your share would be 1,346.15 (it's not letting me put this number in the ad so ignore the other figure)
- We have a number of items we bought together that we would offer you to buy into for c. 240. This can be discussed during a visit.
