Double room in Bethnal Green

Hello! 🥳

My friend Natalia and I (Emer) are looking for a third person to join us in our spacious Bethnal Green flat! 🩷

We’ve been here for a year and have had the best time together. Sadly our third flatmate is moving home as his visa’s run out - so we’re looking now to add a new friendly face - as we love the flat and local area and are really eager to stay.

The Room is furnished with a double bed, mattress, built-in cupboard & shelving unit, desk, lamp and bedside table. 

The flat’s best feature is the large open plan kitchen and living space. The kitchen area has ample storage, a dishwasher and a combination washing machine / dryer. The living area has a big dining table, a sofa and a snuggler (for when we have our projector movie nights!) and an enclosed balcony attached. We love to spend time working and hanging out in here and feel very lucky that the size of the room really allows for everyone to coexist without feeling at all restricted or on top of each other.

We all share the bathroom / toilet which has a shower with a built in bathtub.

The building is secure with fob entry and the apartment is located on the third floor, accessible via stairs or a lift.

Please note, the 5 reference pictures are from the ad before we moved in - so the main living room looks quite different. (We’ve upgraded the dining chairs, changed the sofas, added a projector etc).

A bit about us:

We connected, independently searching for flatmates online last year and found each other. We then made the bold decision to move in together before we’d met and have since had a great year and lots of fun!

Natalia is 23, Polish & Scottish but grew up in Hong Kong. She graduated with a fashion degree from Manchester Uni last year and has since worked in London for a luxury brand and is now on the hunt for a new fashion job.

I’m Emer, 22, originally from Edinburgh but have lived in London for a year and a half. I work freelance in Creative Production and as a Styling Assistant- so my work schedule is quite varied.

We’re both very social and have loved exploring and going out together. But we do also pour a lot of love and time into the flat and really appreciate the warmth and security it provides. We're on a mission to make the flat feel even cooler and cosier! We both love sharing our flare with each other and incorporating our personalities into our collective environment!

Bonding particularly through our love for music, fashion, media (in all forms) and just the creative arts in general- we would love to find the right person (of a similar age) who will hopefully shares some of these passions with us and is looking for a warm inclusive place where everyone can feel at home.
