Double bedroom available (with space for desk, wardrobe, drawers etc) in a non-smoking flat share in Shoreditch/Bethnal Green. A great top floor flat - our little penthouse is very peaceful and situated between Columbia Road and Brick Lane - just 5 mins walk to Shoreditch High Street Station (Overground), 10 mins to Bethnal Green (Central Line) and 15 mins to Liverpool Street Station - a fantastic home to make the most of what East London has to offer.

The flat comprises of three bedrooms, a living room, a separate kitchen with a dining table, and bathroom with a separate toilet. The living room has great views of the London skyline, comfy sofa and gets lots of natural light. The kitchen is also fully equipped with the usual appliances (toaster, microwave, fridge-freezer, gas hob and electric fan oven).

The room comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and desk and gets good natural light throughout the day. There is also additional storage space in the hallway.

We share the bills when they come in and they are usually around £100ish each per month depending on the season- this includes Internet, Council tax, power and utilities.

You would be signing onto our pre existing 12 month lease until the 30th April 2027, with the option to renew for a further year. We have renewed for the past few years without any issues.

Who you’d be living with:

Greta - 33 year old cis female from New Zealand who works as a teacher at a school in East London. I enjoy socialising with my friends, going to see live music, and exploring London, especially flea markets, charity shops and art galleries.

Michael - 33 year old cis gay male from Australia who works in energy. I enjoy hiking, yoga, and weekend trips in Europe.

This flat feels like a proper home to us and we are hoping to find a like minded flatmate. Ideally we are looking for someone who wants to enjoy occasionally unwinding at the flat together, as well as respecting each others own space. We value treating our house as a safe and calm haven to relax after busy days and weeks. Michael works from home 2ish days a week and we try to work in our bedrooms to make sure the rest of the flat is free for living.

We’re on the hunt for a friendly and kind flatmate who is down to debrief on their day, feel at home, grab the odd drink at the local pub, but equally relaxed with their own personal life and wanting to enjoy the calm atmosphere of our lovely flat.
