Big Double Room in Bethnal Green

Heyyy! Our amazing flat mate is leaving us to live with their partner 🥲 We’re looking for someone to move in with us from the 7th of March.

The flat is in Bethnal Green in between Bethnal Green Station & Stepney Green Station (max 10 minute walk). Victoria park is also a 20-minute walk from us:))

A little bit about the room/house 🏡:

The house is a 3 bed apartment with 1 bathoom & 1 wc. It also has a massive kitchen and a living room with lots of windows and natural light ☀️

Your room will be the biggest in the house and is £944 + approximately £100 bills.
(The room comes unfurnished with the possibility to buy the previous person’s furniture)

Deposit is £500

The tenancy is for a full year with our new lease starting on the 7th of March. Unfortunately benefits are not accepted. You will be legally in the contract so be prepared for referencing from our agency. For us they asked for references from our work and our previous agency:)

Accessibility:

The flat is on the 2nd floor with no lifts. To get in the building you need a fob and you have to open a fire door which is a bit heavy. There are 32 steps to go to our flat. To get in the flat there’s a step on the door. The kitchen, living room and wc are on the bottom floor. To get to your room you have to go up 14 steps. All 3 rooms are on the top floor as well as the bathroom.

We’re Areti & Marilena (me)

Areti is a set designer working for a news & sports company. She loves drawing, crafting, theatre & musicals.

I am a sales assistant at a jewellery store and I also make jewellery. I love art, design& making and generally anything craft related.

We are both in our mid-20s & both Greek 🤍We love cooking and having dinners together and with our friends, having movie nights, going for drinks & dancing with our friends and also hanging out & talking in our living room. We’d love someone who will hopefully be part of the team and enjoy similar things! We’re a queer household with a majority queer friend group so please no transphobes or homophobes. Our house is a beautiful safe space for all of us and we’d love to keep it that way 🫶
