Lovely Sublet Double room in Bethnal Green

Hello there!
I’m a painter and illustrator living in Bethnal Green. I’m leaving for holiday to visit my family for two months and I’m looking for a lovely housemate to take over my room while I’m out. I’ve been living here for almost a year and it’s been good so far.

I live with the landlord, an economics and IT professor and my other housemate is a 23 female who loves reading and travelling. The house is quiet and most of the time it’s empty as everyone has full time work. The landlord is pretty chill, always working on the desk marking papers and reading. If there are any issues, just tell him and he will sort it out. I thought I would mind living with a landlord but it’s not bad actually.

We get a cleaner once a month but have weekly cleans done by the entire household. You can use anything in the kitchen as we all share plates, pots, etc. the living room is a shared space and you can be there for as long as long as you want, we don’t have a TV, we just read lol

The flat is located less than 5 minute walk from Bethnal Green underground station. There are 3 corner shops right outside the house, coffee shops, the London Buddhist centre if you are into meditation and spirituality, a local Co-op in less than 3 minute walk from the apartment. Shoreditch is 20min walk away and towards there there is a huge Tesco 10min walk away, markets, and all the shops you could need really, the best part is the location.

Ideally I’m looking for a female professional looking for a short let for an amazing price. All included in the price: Amenities and WiFi, which is super good for London. I will aim to take most of my things from the room to give you space to settle but I will leave the bookshelf and other bits for my comeback.

You will only have to pay for September and October, I will be back beginning of November, so the last week of August is pretty much free because I would have already paid the rent for it so it’s a gift to you! Do not hesitate to message is you are interested in a viewing.
