Large Double Room in Bethnal Green (bills incl.)

Bright double room in a well-kept house in Bethnal Green. Single occupancy preferred. Occasional guests are absolutely fine within reason :) Rent is £1,625 per month, with all bills included (water, gas, electricity, internet, council tax and cleaner).

The room is south-facing, overlooking the garden, 10 square metres big, with plenty of natural light throughout the day. It comes fully furnished with a bed (currently an extendable single, but this can be exchanged for a double), bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, large mirror, desk, and chair. Towels, duvet, pillows and linen can be provided if required.

The three-bedroom house is on a quiet, safe street, but still very close to Bethnal Green's shops, cafés, and transport links. We're sharing a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, a bathroom with shower, and a separate WC. There is a private garden, a living room with a projector for movie nights, washing machine, dishwasher, and a fully equipped kitchen with an air fryer, microwave, blender, kettle, and all the essentials (and more).
Parking is available for an additional charge.

You'll be sharing with me (Luxembourgish, mid-30s) and one other person. I work in data and spend a lot of my free time dancing which means I am often travelling, and only occasionally in town. The other housemate is Brazilian, also in his mid-30s, works in tech, and is a dancer too. He works mostly remotely during the week and is often away at weekends.
We are calm, clean, and easy-going - open, clear communication is key. We're looking for someone tidy, respectful, and happy creating a home where everyone has their own life but is considerate of the shared spaces and each other's routines.
As this is my home, the room is let under a lodger agreement, ideally with a minimum stay of three months, but I am also open to short-term lets.

The house is in an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to the high street, with plenty of local shops, cafés, and a large Tesco. There are excellent transport links: Bethnal Green (Central line) is around 7 minutes away, Bethnal Green and Cambridge Heath (Weaver line) are both about 10 minutes, Whitechapel (Elizabeth, District and Hammersmith & City lines) and Shoreditch High Street (Windrush line) are within a 15-minute walk. Several bus routes (including the 8, 26, 55, 388, N8 and N25) are close by.
We are also within easy walking distance of Hackney Road and Broadway Market, where you can find more cafés, restaurants, pubs, and independent shops. There are also a lot of great green spaces nearby, including Weavers Fields, Haggerston Park, London Fields, and Victoria Park.
