Light & bright double bedroom furnished with a large fitted double wardrobe, big chest of drawers, comfy double bed and side table. I can also provide a desk and chair if that’s something you would like.

The monthly cost is £1,100, which covers the rent plus all bills and council tax (band C) and a cleaner. Available for 3-6 months starting anytime from mid-September.

The flat is spacious and contains everything you need, which you are welcome to use, so it’s ideal for someone on a shortish stay and therefore not wanting to bring lots of stuff. I can even provide bedding if that’s helpful.

It has a good-sized living room/diner and a separate kitchen, so there’s plenty of shared living space in addition to the room. No en-suite, but you’re only sharing the bathroom with one other person (me!).

I’m female, 40s, non-smoker, and work hybrid. I’m sociable but past the partying phase so it’s a peaceful place! As it’s just the two of us, the main thing for me is that we get on well and have the same approach to sharing.

The location is within 5-10 minutes’ walk of: Bethnal Green tube (Central Line), Cambridge Heath overground station (Weaver line) and loads of bus routes, including a short hop to Whitechapel for more tube lines. It’s very easy to get just about everywhere in London from here!

Broadway market/London Fields, Hackney and Shoreditch are easily walkable. It’s also 5 minutes from leafy Victoria Park and two canals, plus street markets, shops, bars and cafés in Lauriston Road and Bethnal Green.

The flat isn’t super high-spec (though it’s clean, peaceful and comfortable) so that’s reflected in the price. I’ve been really happy here for many years and had some great flat shares so I hope you would like it here too!
