Our lovely student tenant is leaving and we are looking for a new student housemate. We have a double ensuite room up for grabs in our Edwardian house in Blackheath SE3. This is a spacious property and therefore suitable for quiet students. Free on street parking close by.

Newly carpeted and painted these rooms are bright and airy. Antique period furnishings are found throughout and includes a wardrobe, dressing table and continental oak storage chest.

The large garden and patio has seating and is perfect for those summer evenings; even a full- sized table tennis table waiting for players.

The house is within walking distance of Blackheath and Greenwich Park, with bars, restaurants, and pubs close by.

Close by is the Royal Standard where you will find our local M&S Foodhall as well as the local library in addition to a variety of wellbeing cafes and local shops. Other local shopping parades includes a late-night co-op, pharmacy, fruit shop and launderette etc found opposite Hornfair park containing an Olympic sized heated Lido.

To encourage fitness is an Olympic sized lido and gym just a 5 min walk and easy access to Oxleas woods, some 200 acres of ancient woodland on your doorstep.

The golf course is a simple bus ride along the road situated next to a city farm (80 acres) much appreciated for its local produce and brilliant open days.

Rental includes bills (gas, Council tax, water rates, fast broadband and TV license).

Transport:
- Short bus/walk to the station and then quick trains to central London: London Bridge (15min); Cannon Street, Charing Cross and Victoria (20min)
- 11 min bus to North Greenwich tube, where you can jump on the Jubilee line for Canary Wharf.
Street parking available with no permits required at present.
- In the evening the N89 bus goes to the front door from Trafalgar Square.
