Single room available for short let

The vibes: We're looking for a friendly, fun and tidy housemate for a room in our cosy house. We’re currently a house of two women working in environment and medical fields and often have a glass of beer/wine in the evening or hang out in the garden in summer. Weekdays are quiet as we work between Monday - Friday.

The place: The house is a well sized end of terrace house, with a nicely sized living room, kitchen and garden. The living room is filled with plants and the kitchen has all the key appliances including a dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms in total and one bathroom.

The area: The house is located on a quiet street approx. 10 mins walk from Blackhorse Road station. There is lots of green space (entrance to the wetlands is 2 mins away) and a string of breweries between the station and the house on Blackhorse Road. There's nice community vibes and lots do without leaving Walthamstow.

The room: The room is a single with a view of the garden, and comes with basic furniture (a bed, bedside table, small desk).

The person: We’re looking for someone who is fun, friendly and clean! We have a cleaner every 2 weeks to do the big tasks (included in the bills) but it's important you're willing to help with general house chores like keeping counters clean and taking bins out. We're ideally looking for someone who is dog friendly as one of us looks after other friends’ dogs sometimes.

Bills: We split all bills equally and they work out approx. £160 per month including gas and electric, water, council tax, broadband (virgin fibre) and out cleaner.

Subject to obtaining a residents permit there is usually parking space on the road to the rear.
