Two rooms available in a friendly flat in Holborn

Hi! I’m Alexandra, I’m 23, and I’ll be starting my PhD in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at Birkbeck this October. Sadly, my two lovely flatmates and best friends are moving out, so I’m looking for two girls in their 20s to take their rooms, ideally final year/postgrad students or young professionals.

A little about me: I’m from Greece and love cooking, so there will definitely be plenty of Greek food to try! I also volunteer once a week at Great Ormond Street Hospital, just behind the building. I’m bubbly and sociable, and I enjoy having friends over for dinner or drinks, trying new restaurants and pubs, going on little trips, watching films, and occasionally having a good night out. At the same time, I really value peace, personal space, and a calm home.

My flatmates and I have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where we spend time together but also respect each other’s routines and need for quiet. We share the household chores and usually do a Sunday clean to keep the flat tidy and make things fair. I’d love to find people who want the flat to feel like a home rather than just somewhere to live. Being friendly, clean, considerate, and respectful is the most important thing to me.

* £1,330 per month for each room
* Bills are around £60 per person per month, depending on usage
* Council tax is not included. I’m exempt as a student, but non-students would need to pay their share (Band D)
* Available from 1 September
* The flat is older but partially refurbished and the landlord is planning some additional work in mid-August.
