Double room available (partially furnished) in a 2 bed flat in a converted Georgian house on Trinity Church Square.
Hello! I'm a 39 year old professional living in Borough and working out of the City of London. I work in the Healthcare IT industry as a programme manager. My flat mate of two years is moving out to live with her boyfriend and I am looking for a new flat mate to share this lovely property with me!
I'm hoping to find someone who is relaxed and easy going. I like to keep the flat nice and tidy, but not super strict about it! When I am not working I enjoy cooking, baking, seeing friends, trying new restaurants, and travelling. I also enjoy a glass or two of wine at the weekend. :)
The bedroom you would be taking is the smaller of the two rooms but still quite sizable. Your bedroom will include a built-in wardrobe and a bed. There is plenty of space to have a second wardrobe/dresser and desk. If you wish to bring your own bedroom furniture, that is fine too! You will have a beautiful view of the Shard from your window. :)
There is a large living room overlooking the square. All of the furnishings in the flat belong to me (as the flat came unfurnished). The kitchen is fairly modern and has lots of storage space. There is also a large storage cupboard available in the corridor as well and there is one bathroom we will share together.
Our flat is located on the 3rd (top) floor. There are only two other flats sharing our stairwell and they are both quiet and respectful. There is also a shared garden on the ground floor at the back.
The flat is super central and very well connected. Borough tube is less than 5 mins walk, London Bridge & Elephant and Castle are both around 10 mins, and Waterloo 20 mins.
It is a fantastic area with Mercato, Flat Iron Square, Borough Market & Bermondsey Street all nearby as well as two lovely pubs on either end of the road.
Residents get private access to two garden squares. The square and surrounding area are quiet and safe. It's got a really nice community feel and the Trinity Village residents association put on events throughout the year, including things like wine tasting in the church crypt, free walking tours, pub quizzes and Christmas Carols.
Bills average £170 per person per month. Deposit is expected to be £1250. I don't expect the rent price or deposit to go up however I am awaiting the landlord to confirm in the coming days (by the 3rd Nov).
Flat viewings will begin from the 1st November and the tenancy agreement would commence on the 1st January 2027. Move in date can be very flexible - either before the holiday period in December or after the New Year. My current flat mate is planning to move out around the 7th December.
I'm looking for a flat mate who is intending to make the flat their home and planning to stay for at least a year.
