We’re looking for a clean, considerate and quiet flatmate to join our home!

Hiya, we’re Senny and Becky 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ Senny works in higher education and Becky works in the fitness industry. We’re a friendly household and enjoy spending time together- we’ll often watch something over dinner, share a bottle of wine, have a quick card game or head to the pub. At the same time, we’re both quite independent and enjoy our solitude.

We both work fairly regular hours, with (very) early starts for B, so we appreciate a home that feels peaceful and relaxed, particularly on weeknights. Someone who works roughly 9-5 and has their own routine and social life would probably fit in well.

We’re also fairly health-conscious and enjoy eating well. We’re not really a household that spends all day glued to the TV, so someone who enjoys a similar balance would be a good match.

More importantly, we’re looking for someone who is respectful of the communal space, keeps things clean and tidy (hygiene is very important to us), and is mindful of noise and other people’s routines, especially as the walls are quite thin 😅

We’ve recently moved into the flat, so it’s still a bit of a WIP and we’re gradually making it feel like home. We’re therefore looking for someone who isn’t too fussed about everything being perfectly decorated or fully finished. We’re making improvements as we go, so if you’re happy with a home that’s still evolving, you’ll fit right in!

You’ll be signing a contract through a letting agent, who also manages the property, so everything is handled formally through them. We’re still waiting to hear about the council tax. In the meantime, water is approximately £77 per month (fixed), Wi-Fi is £23 (fixed), and energy costs are still TBC.

The flat is around an 8-minute walk from Borough Station and is in a fairly safe neighbourhood, although it can get a little noisy at weekends. The location is one of the biggest perks- around 10 minutes to Tooley Street, 15 minutes to London Bridge and Elephant & Castle, and around 20 minutes to Southwark.
