I’m looking for a friendly, clean and considerate flatmate to take over my room (flatmate is leaving the country and i'll be taking her room - the ensuite) in our lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat in Borough.

The flat & room:

The room available is the smaller of the two bedrooms. it’s bright and well laid out, with a large window bringing in plenty of natural light, wooden flooring and good storage. There’s also space for a double bed and desk, making it a great option for a professional working in central London.

The flat itself is spacious and modern, with a large open-plan living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of communal space to relax.

You’ll also have your own private bathroom located directly next to the bedroom.

A bit about me:

Hi! I’m Amarachi

I’m a 28-year-old finance professional based in London. I’m Nigerian and have been in the UK for coming up to 12 years, and I’ve lived and worked in London for most of my adult life, so it really feels like home.

I work in finance and spend around 50% of my weekdays in the office.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching YouTube and TV shows, painting, cooking, baking (you'll enjoy loads of sweet treats!!), and having long chats with friends and family. My main hobby at the moment is working out – whether that’s running, gym sessions or workout classes. I’m slowly becoming a bit of a gym rat and usually work out around 3–4 times a week!

I also picked up DJing about three years ago. I don’t practise as often as I’d like, but I do occasionally practise at home. If noise is a concern, I’m very considerate and happy to schedule practice times when you’re not around. I also love listening to music while cooking, cleaning or showering, although I’m more than happy to use my AirPods if needed!

I’m very easy-going, but I do prefer a clean home. Life happens, of course, but keeping the flat in good shape most of the time (let’s say 85%!) would be ideal.

I’d describe myself as an ambivert – friendly and sociable, but also someone who needs plenty of recharge time. The one thing I’m particularly mindful of is noise at night, as I struggle with sleep, so I’d ideally like someone who is considerate about keeping things quiet when we’re sleeping.

Overall, I’m looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, clean and easy-going, and who wants the flat to feel like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
