Hiii,
Looking for a new flatmate to move into the second room. It’s a pretty big room, with loads of light and plenty of space, even once a double bed is in. Most importantly, the window is huge and incredible for people-watching.
(Big red desk in pics will be gone)
About me me me...
I work from home a fair bit, so I'm here a lot during the day, but I'm quite social, so I'm often out in the evenings - more so on the weekends.
That said, I do run out of steam (sometimes), so I have weeks where I'll be home more evenings than not. When I'm home, I'm probably watching something (Real Housewives RHONYC) on the TV, reading, cooking or scrolling on TikTok, sue me xx
On weekends, I'm typically out and about; that can range from a day festival to the cinema, a pub trip or a walk around the park. Who knowsss.
I'm v v v clean and tidy. I keep on top of it throughout the week but also give the flat a full clean once a week, unless I'm rammo busy, which can happen, but I typically do make time.
About you...
Keen to have someone move in who also has a good balance of both socialising and being at home. I think if we gel on that, we’ll have plenty of time at home together to get to know each other and hopefully become friends, as well as plenty of time to ourselves at home to recharge, etc. Which I think will be a great vibe.
I definitely want it to feel like your home as well as mine, so I think being aligned on the above and how we both like to keep our home (clean lol) is super important for us to live happily ever after.
Would be great if you're office-based more than wfh purely because it can get a bit hectic 2 people working on top of each other, but that wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me.
No smoking or vaping in the flat, so ideallyyyy you don't do either of those things. Again, not a dealbreaker.
I do have quite a lot of possessions lol, so there isn't a huge amount of room in the communal areas to unload loads of things, but I'll make sure there is space in the kitchen and bathroom if needed.
Lastly this is an lgbt+ household and would love to keep it that way if poss! Not a dealbreaker x
About the flat…
Important info: Bills come to approx £150 a month. Varies season to season ofc.
I'm keeping the room mostly unfurnished while I look for a flatmate, to allow for flexibility if someone has their own furniture, but happy to discuss partially furnishing the room if needed.
It’s a pretty quiet flat because we’re on the top floor; v occasionally I’ll hear a neighbour.
The flat overall is 2 beds, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen and balcony. The balcony is looking a little unloved atm, but I'll be cleaning it off shortly so you can use it as and when you like.
The building faces in towards a quiet car park, so we have a fair bit of privacy around the entrance. There's also a communal garden downstairs, which I'll show you when you come to view. I forgot to take a pic.
Lastly, one of my favourite things about the flat, and partly why I’ve been here for so long! It’s in an extremely convenient location.
