Huge double room sublet in Bow

Hi! I'm Mano (32) and looking for a friendly flatmate to sublet my room to whilst travelling. Dates are 17th October 2026 - 31st January 2027 (option to extend another month). I currently live with 3 other girls, Hannah, Cicelly and Izzie (26 - 32).

Females preferred please, ideally in our age range. Sorry no students.

The double room is genuinely big and airy, and comes fully furnished with a desk, chair, 2 huge wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Also has lots of natural light!

I’m planning to leave my TV (with fire stick and chromecast) and the furniture. If you want to keep anything else in the room while you rent, happy to discuss :)

Rent is £825 + bills (which come to £80-£100 a month and a bit more over winter, we use splitwise to sort).

The flat is split over two floors and consists of a kitchen, spacious living/dining area, bathroom and additional separate w/c and a small balcony. Please note that the flat is located on the 2nd/3rd floor of our building and there is no lift so two flight of stairs to access the property.

The flat is located in Bow, East London just off Devon’s Road with great transport links. Bow Road (10/15 min walk) and Mile End (20 min walk) tube stations have links to the District, H&C and Central lines, whilst Devon’s Road DLR is only a 5 min walk away, and there are plenty of bus stops too.

All supermarkets are in walking distance, including a big Tesco and a Lidl. Other amenities nearby include gyms, pubs, parks, cafes, and Westfield shopping centre (10 min on the DLR).

We are all working professionals (Charity/Civil Service/research/arts) and looking for another professional to sublet to. I have lived here (in various iterations) for two years now and have loved living here. The vibe of the flat is friendly and sociable (e. g. pub quiz/flat dinner/parkrun) but also repsect each other's space, so looking for someone who will get on with the girls whilst I'm away!
