Double bedroom by Victoria Park, female flatshare

Lovely double bedroom available from 1st November in a female flatshare in Bow (E3), in an amazing area right next to Victoria Park.

You'd be living with a journalist and a project manager, who are both lovely and super easy-going. We're looking for a female flatmate to join them.

I've lived here since March 2025 and have really loved it, but I'm moving on to a new place, so the room is now available.

The area: The flat is just off Roman Road, which is full of independent shops, cafés and pubs, with a Tesco and other shops nearby for grocery shopping. There are plenty of cosy cafés to read in or work from if you fancy a change of scenery. Victoria Park is perfect for a walk, and it has lovely little cafés inside where you can stop for a coffee along the way. On Sundays you can enjoy the market at Victoria Park or head to Columbia Road Flower Market.

Transport: Mile End station is a 12-minute walk, with the Central, District and Hammersmith & City lines, so you're really well connected to central London. The number 8 bus stop is just 2 minutes from the house and goes straight into the centre, all the way to Tottenham Court Road.

The room: The room has its own walk-in wardrobe, so there's loads of storage space. It's unfurnished, but if you'd like to keep any of the furniture currently in it, I'm happy to negotiate a price :)

Shared spaces: The living room, kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped with things we've bought together over time (TV, sofa, dining table, pots and pans, plates, etc.). Because of this, we ask the new flatmate for a contribution towards these items, happy to give more details when we chat. Once paid, they're as much yours as everyone else's, shared with the other flatmates, and when the time comes you can split them or sell them between you.

Rent is £850 per calendar month, deposit £961.

Bills are not included. These are the approximate monthly costs for the whole flat, split equally between the 3 of us:
- Water: around £67
- Electricity and gas: around £125
- Council tax (Tower Hamlets): £187
- Internet: £34.99

That's around £414 in total, so roughly £138 per person per month.

The current contract runs until March 2027, with the option to renew if you'd like to stay longer.
