A bright, spacious double room is available in a modern, recently built apartment in Bow, East London (E3), with excellent transport connections to Canary Wharf, Stratford and Central London.

The room comes furnished with a comfortable double bed, mattress and two large under-bed storage drawers. It benefits from a large window offering plenty of natural light and open views, neutral décor and soft carpeting. There's also enough space to add a desk if you work from home.

One of the biggest advantages is that you'll have your own spacious bathroom. Although it's technically the apartment's main bathroom, I have my own en-suite, so I never use it. The only exception would be occasional visitors who may need to use it.

You'll also have full access to the shared living room, kitchen and communal areas. The apartment is modern, comfortable and well maintained, and you'll only be sharing with me.

About me: I'm a friendly, independent professional with a background in higher education and the charity sector. I mainly work from home, so I'm around quite a lot, but I'm very comfortable in my own company and tend to keep myself to myself. I enjoy a peaceful, relaxed home environment and value privacy and personal space. That said, I'm always happy to have a chat or share a laugh!

Who I'm looking for: Ideally, someone friendly, considerate, tidy and independent who appreciates a quiet, comfortable home rather than a busy or overly sociable house share. I'm perfectly happy with someone who also works from home. I don't expect us to socialise constantly, but I do think mutual respect, good communication and looking after shared spaces are important.

I want whoever moves in to feel genuinely at home, with the freedom to enjoy their own routine and independence.

Rent is £1,200 per month, with ALL household bills included (electricity, heating, water, council tax and broadband). Food and personal groceries are not included.

The apartment is situated in a modern development with secure access and lift facilities, conveniently located for Bow Road, Mile End and Devons Road stations, as well as local shops, supermarkets, cafés, gyms and green spaces.
