Lovely 2-bed flat overlooking Victoria Park & the canal room available from 28th November (flexible!)

I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in our lovely two-bedroom flat overlooking Victoria Park and the canal.

The room is available from 28th November, although there’s a bit of flexibility if you’re looking to move in earlier. The new flatmate will be added to the tenancy from 28th November.

The flat is in a gated development on the second/top floor (no lift). It also comes with its own car parking space, which is included in the rent. I don’t drive, so the parking space is all yours!

It’s furnished and has a really good-sized living space overlooking the canal and park, with a large sofa and dining table already in place. I’m thinking about adding a second, smaller sofa or an armchair to make the living room even cosier, but thought it would be nice to decide on that together once I’ve found a flatmate!

I’ve only recently moved in myself (about a week ago!) and am excited to get decorating and putting my own stamp on the place. I’d love someone who is equally keen to add their own touches if they fancy. I’ve also brought quite a few plants with me, so ideally someone who enjoys a bit of greenery and perhaps has green fingers themselves!

A bit about me

I’m 37 and work in venue sales at a comedy club (unfortunately, I’m not allowed anywhere near the stage!).

I tend to work from the office around four days a week, but I’m completely relaxed about whether you work from home or go into the office.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football, going to comedy, occasionally remembering to use my Tate membership, finding cosy pubs and overpriced small plates.

I’m pretty chilled, tidy and sociable, but equally enjoy a quiet night in. Ideally looking for someone similar who wants a nice home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
