We moved into this house a year ago as a four, and one of our flatmates is moving out — so we're looking for a replacement to join us.
The three of us remaining are all working professionals (start-up, software engineering, and consulting), career-focused but sociable — into the gym, running, and cooking. We're after someone similarly minded: sociable, mature, tidy, and more of a pub-and-good-conversation person than a weekly-rowdy-nights-out person.
The house:
Ground floor: open-plan kitchen/living area, shower room, and a good-sized patio/garden (great for bikes)
First floor: two bedrooms
Second floor: two bedrooms plus a second shower room
The room: A double on the second floor, facing the back of the property.
The house is fully set up (we furnished it ourselves when we moved in), so you'd just need to bring a bed — everything else in the room and house is sorted.
Practicalities: You'll need to pass referencing and go on the contract with us (likely a rolling tenancy under the new Renters' Rights Act). We're all planning to stay long-term, so we're looking for someone able to commit for several months minimum — not a short 3-month stay.
Get in touch if that sounds like a fit and we can set up a meet.
