The two rooms are at the rear of the house and very quiet. There's plenty of storage in either room and with windows that have views of the garden patio and sunrises. The rooms can fit a double bed and desk and we have quick reliable internet around the house.
Both rooms had their windows replaced with double glazing in June this year.
You will be living with Henryk and Charlie. We are two friendly housemates who you’ll often find in the kitchen. We both live busy lives but like to chat about work, history, travel, food, current events and more.
Both of us like to keep the house clean and we have a cleaning rota for the kitchen that shares out duties evenly. You’d also be expected to help out with the rota, so the house would best fit people who like neat and tidy spaces. We both work out of the house with regular Mon – Fri schedules.
About us:
Henryk: This summer I’ve bought some planters for the patio and I’m growing some wildflowers in them, they are starting to sprout flowers now which is lovely. In my spare time I like to make bits of furniture, take part in local volunteer groups, particularly at Brockwell Park. I’m also a keen cyclist and can talk to you all day about urban planning. I enjoy a peaceful atmosphere in the house but like to organise small get togethers with my friends such as the odd boardgames night.
Charlie: is a journalist, who enjoys reading, cycling, French food, history and football.
There is lots of shared space around the house to hang out in. We have a living room with TV, large kitchen and dining room, and the garden patio.
The house has 2 bathrooms, both have a toilet and shower each. The kitchen comes with gas hob, oven, 2 fridge freezers and a dishwasher. There is also a closet room for storing and airing clothes and a room downstairs for storing bikes out of the way. There is street parking outside the house next to a parklet that the house faces.
For commuting the house is close to a busy bus station with buses running all night going to Oxford Street and Waterloo. The next closest train/tube stations are Brixton, Clapham South, Streatham Hill, Tulse Hill and Herne Hill. These are all reachable by bus or bike within 10-15mins.
If you think you might be a good fit for the house please get in touch saying a lil bit about yourself, when you can do a viewing, what you like and dislike in housemates and when you’d like to move in.
