Fresh 2 Bed Garden Flat 🏡

Hi everyone,

A double room is going in a 2 bed flat. I moved in in March 2025, and have had a great time with housemate / lodgers this year, but the room is coming available again so reposting the ad.

The room comes furnished with built in wardrobe and a double ottoman bed so there is plenty of storage.

There is a kitchen lounge diner, leading out to a large private(!) garden.

The photos of the inside are from the sale listing, I will upload up to date ones soon. I have painted the lodger bedroom, and the plan is to escape the landlord white / millennial grey!

It's an amazing location:
- Brixton Village <5min walk away
- Brixton Station with Victoria line and overground <10min
- Loughborough Junction overground ~7min walk away.
- Herne Hill <20 min walk
- Denmark Hill <20 min walk

Looking for:
A professional who wants to feel at home and be mates with their housemates rather than strangers. Happy to do our own thing most of the time, but welcome the occasional film night, pub trip, glass of wine watching MAFS, or maybe a boulder/ climb <5min walk away! (They have a sauna!)
Unfortunately not keen on a fully remote housemate, as I think a hybrid or full on site would be best for the house dynamic.

Bills are all split and come to around 120-150 a month

About me:
I (30F) am a long term spareroom renter, and through living a little further out and sacrificing holidays, I've managed to save and get on the property ladder, but have no intention on living alone - really want to share the space with a housemate. I work in tech/product with a hybrid of home and office (2-3 days, and when WFH I work in the lounge as my room is the smaller room).
I got really into my gardening last summer growing tomatoes, cucumbers, rhubarb, and mint - if that's not your thing no worries at all, but if it is then happy for you to get involved!
