Brixton – 1 room available in a 3-bedroom flat
We’re looking for a friendly young professional to join our flat, ideally located less than 10 minutes from Brixton Station (Victoria Line and National Rail) and under 15 minutes from Herne Hill Station (Thameslink and National Rail). Multiple bus connections (3, 37, 196, 690, and N3) are also just a 5-minute walk away.
Available from 28th June onwards, the room is a bright double with built-in wardrobes, offering plenty of storage and space for a desk setup. It comes part-furnished (specifics can be provided).
The shared bathroom has a full-sized bathtub and mains shower with great water pressure.
The flat doesn’t have a living room, so the kitchen is very much the heart of the home and our main communal space — the place where we usually chat, cook, and catch up together. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, gas hob, and dining table. We also have a cleaner who comes every two weeks.
One of the best things about living here is the location. We’re just a short 5-minute walk from Brockwell Park and a large Sainsbury’s, as well as countless great pubs, coffee shops, and restaurants right on the doorstep. The flat is perfectly situated between central Brixton, Brixton Village, and Herne Hill, with easy connections to Clapham.
You’ll be living with Euan (28) and Sophie (26), two sociable and easy-going young professionals who enjoy a good balance of catching up over dinner or drinks, going to concerts/ nights out, and occasionally hosting, while also respecting each other’s space. We’ve lived here for nearly four years and absolutely love it (the room is only available because our current flatmate is moving back home). We’re hoping to find another young professional who is social, respectful, and keen to be part of a friendly home rather than simply renting a room.
